Community Programs
Grant monies from the Ottawa County Community Foundation provide yearly concerts at area schools and retirement centers, including: Otterbein North Shore, The Vineyard on Catawba, Edgewood Manor, Oak Harbor Retirement Village, Riverview Nursing Home, Elmore and Genoa Retirement Villages. Musicians for these concerts generally come from the Toledo area and have included string, brass, woodwind, percussion, and jazz groups.
Community programs at area schools are open to faculty members, students, and student immediate family members, free of charge.
Community programs at area retirement centers are open to all members of the community, free of charge.

Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?

Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf? is an engaging, 40-minute adaptation of Mozart’s Don Giovanni that reinvents the Don himself as the infamous Big Bad Wolf. Little Red Riding Hood, The Three Little Pigs, and The Boy Who Cried Wolf must work together to show the Wolf the error of his ways. Using the music and themes from one of Mozart’s greatest operas, young audiences learn the dangers of bullying, the power of friendship, and the ability of music to bring people together.
